I'm an advocate for disabled, queer representation, and offer workshops, teaching, and sensitivity reading, to make sure your work is as strong and authentic as possible. I'm an author, so I understand what it takes when you hand your book off to someone. I put the same attention and care into your work as I do my own, whether I'm narrating your audiobook or sensitivity reading. Together, we can make your incredible book shine.
The Amphibian Press Podcast interviews writers on craft, life as an author and their newest projects. Episodes air every other Monday and are available through all mainstream podcast sites as well as YouTube.
workshops and representation
workshops and teaching
I've taught workshops and presented at high schools, colleges and conferences on the publishing industry, going indie, the writing process, and most notably, disability in literature, specifically SFF worlds.
I do sensitivity reading for queer-femme, f/f, anxiety, connective-tissue disorders/mobility aids, depression, and PTSD. I'll also consult to make sure your archaeology is accurate! Services start at .004 per word
My voice is mid to low range, rich with a hint of roughness, and I took several years of choral classes (alto/lady tenor). I am especially interested in adding authenticity to the voices of queer or disabled protagonists. My skills particularly shine with sharp dialogue, snarky tones, and action and intensity.
I'm available through Findaway and ACX, as well as direct: $180 PFH
Aspiring Authors Residency
I partnered with the Aspiring Authors Blog to bring you monthly posts on writing Disability and Mental Illness in SFF genres. Think of a topic or question you'd like me to cover specifically? Send me an email!
